How to get into the CUBE® framework

For a more detailed overview of the CUBE® Framework

What is it for?

The purpose of the CUBE® framework is to:

To establish a foundation for organisations to define the best methods for collaboration between all disciplines within and outside the organisation.

In other words, the Framework help organisations to bridge the different competence areas (disciplines) within the organisation as well as externally with other organisation to facilitate effective collaboration, the key success factor of all human progress.

The result is a more purpose driven organisation that is better equipped to operate in today’s context as well as being able to adapt and evolve to meet the future.

What is The CUBE® Framework?

The CUBE® Framework is a set of ideas and models that together defines a common language for how a company, a government agency, a non-profit organisation or any other type of organisation functions as a whole.

The framework is built upon the core idea that all human progress is based on collaboration, and collaboration is based on:

The mutual agreement of the perception of an idea.

Or in other words that we not only use the same words, we must also have the same interpretation of the word.

CUBE® stands for

Collaborative Unified Business Environment

..referring to an organisation where all execution is integrated and unified towards a common direction based on effective collaboration.

The framework defines and includes all components that are relevant for the organisation to operate and thrive, as well as the relations between these components, which is equally important.

The result is a simple yet complete language for how all parts of an organisation integrate to function as a whole.

Who is it for?

The CUBE® Framework is for professionals that see the value of establishing effective collaboration based on effective language and communication, without needing to invent it from scratch or solve the inter-connectivity of all components through trial-and-error.

This typically includes (but is definitely not limited to):

  • Shareholders Board
  • CEOs / CXOs
  • Management Teams
  • Senior Managers
  • Business Operations Developers
  • Enterprise Architects

It can also be used as a foundation for everyone within the organisation to explain how the company functions as a whole.

What can it be used for?

The CUBE® Framework can be applied in many different contexts for different purposes. But a few proven uses and implementations of the CUBE® Framework are:

  • a structure to perform assessments and analysis of an organisation
  • an underlying structure for the organisation of information on an intranet
  • a structure for designing management systems
  • a process for designing new services, products and solutions

The CUBE® Framework does not solve any of the problems, but it establishes a language and structure that enables sorting out unclarities to turn complexity into action.
