All Organisations are CUBE®s

2.6 The Larger Context

The CUBE framework is not limited to an individual organisation. One of the strengths of the CUBE® framework is that it covers both the internal and external perspective. This enables benefits not for internal collaboration, but collaboration with external parties.

The CUBE® stretches beyond a single organisation

All organisations are CUBE®s. Business customers, governments, suppliers, competitors etc. Are all fundamentally operating in the same way according to the CUBE® layers.

Why is this important? One of the main challenges when interacting with other parties is that each party use their own language. And even if the words are the same, it is not unusual that the interpretation of that word (or idea) is different for each organisation.

A common language between all parties progresses discussions

By applying the CUBE® framework as a foundation language for communication and collaboration between organisations, the CUBE® framework provides a common and well-defined language for how to describe specific topics.

The CUBE® framework brings clarity allowing for the progress discussion and ultimately less risk of misunderstanding, less frustration and increased outcome value for all involved parties.
