Purpose

The purpose of the Prioritise process is to reduce and decide which opportunities should be explored and turned into assets.

    • Organisation performance
    • Need for clarification of discipline
    • Changes to organisation or organisation context
    • Audit non-conformities
    • List of incidents and deviations
    • Documented comments and questions

    Output

    • Prioritized opportunities for improvement
    • Decision to explore specific opportunities

    1. Identify Opportunities

    • Gather observations
    • Gather organisational needs
    • Gather audit results
    • Identify opportunities
    • Create list of opportunities with simple descriptions

    2. Assess Potential

    • Assess potential outcome values
    • Assess expected effort and resource needs
    • Document findings as a business case

      3. Prioritise

      • Review list of opportunities
      • Prioritise opportunities based on effort and impact

        4. Decide to explore

        • Decide to start exploration of new asset by formal role/forum
        • Document expectations on asset
