What is financial value?
Definition
The monetary result of an investment, decision or action
All organisations need money to be able to operate. Financial value is about ensuring the long-term ability for an organisation to operate and progress towards its vision.
The ability to secure funding, sell services and products, improve efficiency provides income to the company and enables the funding of employees, services, suppliers, legal fees, taxes and all other costs that an organisation need to operate.
There is always a financial outcome value regardless of the organisations actions, meaning that investments has a negative impact on the financial outcome value, and the successful implementation and utilisation of the investment has a positive financial outcome value.
